Dr. Lorenzana has been In practice since 1974, and until 1979 his dental office was dedicated to general practice with a special focus in Oral Surgery and Prosthodontics.

In the beginning of 1979 he went to the United States to pursue his training in Prosthodontics at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, and later at The Medical University of South Carolina.

In 1982 he was appointed as a Assistant Professor at Baylor College of Dentistry, a position he held for six years. He achieved a second dental degree as a doctor in Dental Surgery at Baylor College and opened a private practice of Prosthodontics for seven years in the prestigious, Dallas, Highland Park area.

In the late 80’s he obtained the most prestigious diploma from The American Board of Prothodontists, which makes him an expert in Prosthodontics in the United States of America.

Dr. Lorenzana’s research has been published in many well-recognized worldwide journals, and he has also participated as a speaker in different conferences worldwide regarding medical tourism.

He decided in 1992 to return to El Salvador and open his practice forming the now known Lorenzana Dental Center.

He is the only trained Certified Prothodontist in Central and South America and a pioneer in the development of Osseintegrated Implantology in the area, this giving Lorenzana Dental Center the credit, from his thousands of patients and international evaluators, as the best dental Prosthodontics clinic in the country.

Anesthesiologists like: Guillermo Karraa MD, Luz Ileana Paniagua MD, Manuel Amaya MD.
Periodontist: Natalia Chavez DDS.
Other specialists who collaborate with the center are Fernando Basagoitia DDS and Ernesto Palomo DDS, both American trained Endodontists.
